It’s that time of the year again! Today marks the start of LoveSingapore’s 40.Day prayer series. 

The annual season of prayer and fasting, now in its 25th run, takes place from July 1 to August 9, climaxing on National Day.

With the theme From the Ground Up, this year’s devotions will take readers on a prayer journey through the book of Nehemiah, beginning with background in Ezra. 

As we envision a world post-COVID, it’s apt to revisit this time in history when Nehemiah led the remnant of Israel to rebuild the wall of Jerusalem.

When the pandemic has long gone, how will future generations remember us? What did we do about the gaps exposed by COVID-19?

If you haven’t gone through the book of Nehemiah before, or just want to understand it on a deeper level, now’s the perfect time to join your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ in doing so.
