The pandemic has disrupted many things about church life. Services, singing, cell group.

But what worries me most: It feels like we’ve hit the pause button on the Great Commission. Evangelism has taken a back seat. 

Church, it’s time to snap out of it.

It says in Isaiah 52:7 (ESV)

How beautiful upon the mountains
are the feet of him who brings good news,
who publishes peace, 
who publishes salvation.

In 2022, it’s time to move out of the Year of Pandemic and into the Year of Peace – the Year we Publish Peace and Publish Salvation.

The thing about the pandemic is now everyone is totally digital. By now, you’re on WhatsApp, Telegram, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and more.

Which means you have the ability to publish on social media, on chat groups. With every post, you’re a publisher.

So in 2022, make this the Year to Publish Peace.

Do you know how good wins over evil?

… by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony (Revelation 12:11)

It’s time to tell the world your testimony. This is the challenge for 2022, the Year we Publish Peace.

At least one time this year, will you share your testimony on your social media?

At least one time in 2022, will you type out your testimony about the goodness of God or shoot it on your phone?

Then post it on your feed – publish it! – so that your friends can encounter Jesus through you!

Throughout 2022, we will #PublishPeace.

We will tell story after story, articles and videos, about the goodness of God that transforms lives.
