“He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.”
Have you ever felt wronged, betrayed or been unjustly punished? No one know such feelings better than Jesus.
He did no wrong, but was falsely accused. Despite betrayal from those around Him, He still laid down His life for them. Despite the fact that Jesus was sinless, He still chose to die for all of our sins. He bore our sins in our place, and provided for our healing.
As Christ died for us, we now live for Him. As God’s children, we are called to lives of righteousness and to pursue Christlikeness. What is something you have to pick – or put down – to live in such a way?
