As the atoning sacrifice, Jesus bore all the sins of humanity. He took upon Himself the sins of the whole world!

While priests of the past had to make sacrifices over and over again, Jesus’ perfect sacrifice was one times good one.

This means that Jesus paid the full debt on the cross for humanity’s sins — past, present and future.

Because of Jesus — and only Jesus — there is a way for the whole world to be reconciled with God.
