Are you afraid of death?
Many people are afraid to confront the reality that one day, we will all die. The author of Hebrews describes them as “slaves to the fear of dying” (Hebrews 2:15, NLT).
But there is good news! Fully God and fully man, Jesus Christ died on the cross as a human being — in “flesh and blood” — in place of all humanity. In Jesus’ resurrection from the dead, He has broken the power of the devil and the power of death (Hebrews 2:14).
You need not fear death. When you are a child of God, death and the devil has no hold on you. Knowing that Christ has conquered death, how does that practically change the way you live?
