Join World Vision on an interactive journey through the eyes of children worldwide who have found themselves out of school. Your mission: To help them navigate the uncharted waters of their future as they strive to reclaim their right to education, so that they can unlock their potential and fulfil their aspirations!
This year, World Vision’s 30 Hour Famine returns as an in-person day camp happening on 29 – 30 May 2023 at Lazarus Island and Sentosa! Join us as we go on an interactive journey through the eyes of children around the world who have found themselves out of school. Your mission:
- Complete team-based Amazing Race station activities simulating barriers to education in different parts of the world.
- Walk in the shoes of children who face immense obstacles to education – including economic instability, environmental disasters, health crises, conflict, and damaging cultural norms – and help them chart their way back to a brighter future.
- Discover how children and youth from other countries and backgrounds share many aspirations in common with us here in Singapore: the desire for meaningful and dignified livelihoods, and the ability to provide for their families.
Tickets are priced at $40 (early bird) and $45 (general). Early bird registration ends on April 7, 2023.
