Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham. For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”
How do you usually introduce yourself?
Apparently Jesus’ favourite title for Himself was “Son of Man”, which is mentioned some 80 times in the New Testament.
With a reference like that, you can’t quite miss His humanity.
It’s indeed a divine mystery how Jesus can be the Son of God and the Son of Man.
What’s also incredible is how He gave up His place in heaven to enter this earth as part of God’s salvation plan for us.
If Jesus could humble Himself for the sake of the gospel, what about you?
In what way do you need to lower yourself, so that God can be glorified?
