If that’s you, my friend, how has the year been so far?

I know you might think that nothing has changed. You still feel the pounding in your heart, the endless noise in your mind, the heaviness that comes with every word and action.

It’s 2025 but not much feels new. You’re stuck with the same old struggle, and you wonder if you can ever be happy again.

At lunch with your friends, you’re doing your best to connect with them. But deep down, you can’t wait to go home.

You come to church, but it’s so overstimulating that it’s tough to focus on worshipping God together.

At night, sleep eludes you. You’re exhausted but your brain just won’t rest. Knowing that it’s getting late only makes you more anxious that you won’t have energy for tomorrow.

Staying hopeful is difficult when you’re… still here.

But I want you to know this: God is also still here.

He sees all the times you tried your best even though you just wanted to give up. He sees how you showed up for church. He hears all the things you cry out to Him, even when you don’t have the words. All the times you choose to have faith and cling to His Word — He sees that. He is always ready to receive you with a loving embrace even if you’re totally disappointed in yourself.

Choose to hope. God will never leave you to walk this path alone. He is still providing everything that you need, and He is walking every step with you. He is carrying you. One day, you’ll come out of the wilderness leaning on your Beloved. One day, you’ll see Him face-to-face – and it will all be worth it.
